The Crafting Place will never sell, rent or trade email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes.

This Privacy Policy, provides information on when and why your personal information is collected and how it’s used. 

This policy is effective from 1st May 2018

When you purchase something from The Crafting Place website, the system (Squarespace) stores your name, address, phone number and email address.  Having this information allows us to handle your booking effectively.

We log this information on our booking system/calendar so we can see who is coming to our classes and inform you of any changes to dates and or times.

We do not store our customers credit or debit card details.

If you make a booking we will add your details to our mailing list (hosted on Mailchimp).  You will be sent an opt in email to confirm your subscription.

Mailchimp

We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletters. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails.

Email

I use Microsoft Outlook for all company email. If you contact me on any email address ending in @thecraftingplace.co.uk your email address and email content will be stored on MS Outlook servers. When you book online, I receive a confirmation email to the contact@thecraftingplace.co.uk email address. In this email I receive your name, email address, phone number, billing address and shipping address, as well as details of your order.

Access to your personal information

Under GDPR, you are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. Email your request to Vicki on contact@thecraftingplace.co.uk.
